It’s a symbol for European unity that this happens almost exactly 85 years after the German attack on Poland started.

He mentioned the swedish soldiers, or was it too long ago?

  4. The 8 most terrifying words in the English language: I‘m from Germany, and I‘m here to help.

If I saw German soldiers unexpectedly, Id rather think that Russia is starting something with NATO, than that we are having a nazi friendly visit part two. Finally a possible front seems to be only on one side of the border.

  7. Also the Polish Prime Minister trying his best to convince :

“Plus this time they didn’t make a deal with the Russians on ours backs….

    Okay they did.
But that was only on gas, not on our land, and that was some time ago.

    Bottom line : they changed.
    For real. “

Funnily enough, in Austria a woman shot at German soldiers, thinking it was an invading force

  9. Polish guy here. Worked with German soldiers for 5 years. Great lads. Imagine things we would achieve if we were together in 1939 lol..

Silly jokes aside, great to have their support and to put a stick in this “Germany is not our friendly neighbor” right wing propaganda wheel.
