What is wet pipe smell? Do you mean sewage smell? Wet pipes don’t smell like anything on their own. Pipes can get wet from a leak or from condensation. Sewage smell can come from many different places like blocked lines, leak, dry floor drain etc

If you live in an apartment building, contact maintenance. If you live in a detached house, contact a plumber directly. If you are renting, contact your landlord.

Do you mean smell of strong Iron or copper or sewer smell?
    Or smell of mold?

    Proper ventilation.

If they get wet only sometimes, it’s condensation. Indoor air is humid and the water condenses on surfaces.

Check if your vent is closed of blocked. They tend to build up dust and form tight lint.
You may put a piece of paper over the vent. If it somewhat stick due to draft, it’s okay.

Now when the vent is checked you should see if there’s sufficient fresh air coming in.

At your windows or somewhere near the ceiling you should have air inlets. Put your hand close to it/them and you should feel the air flow. If not the inlet does not work properly. Some of these, specifically those at the windows, have summer and winter setting. The summer setting lets more air in.

As the ventilation works, the humidity should go outside with the draft.

Sometimes the outdoor air is very humid. Then you can’t do anything. It will get in.

If there’s sewer kind of odour, the draft might be too high and it pulls air and moisture from the floorwells as well as odours.
