And more and more reasons for Georgian youth to leave the country. Leading to a further brain drain. Unbelievably short-sighted.

How does the same country want to be in the EU? Don’t blame this on your government alone.

  3. This is deeply, deeply disappointing.

I hope and pray that this does not spread to neighboring Armenia.

Jesus Christ. I’m half Georgian half Russian and both countries having similar laws doesn’t make sense, doesn’t Georgia wanna join the EU??

  5. I really had my hopes high for Georgia to become an EU member eventually, so this is really disappointing. If Georgia doesn’t wake up from the Georgian dream anytime soon, it’s going to be oblast Georgia and I’d really hate that.

  6. So disappointing. Trans people have nothing to do with societal decline and if some GD-supporter reading this thinks they do, you really need to open your eyes and remember you’re not “safe” just because I can’t marry my girlfriend in Sakartvelo. You’re not immune from being discriminated against, and this kind of discrimination will keep butt-fucking our ascension into the EU for decades

I’ve been lucky enough to live here five years now. This makes me so sad.
