      First time I’ve even heard of this series, which never bodes well.

      Not shocked. The trailer looked dreadful. I for one didnt bother to watch it because of that fact. Guess Im not alone.

      I adore the movie, so I was angry that 1) Taika Waititi was doing the series and 2) that it was on Apple which I don’t have and refuse to get. So, fine… be gone. Long live the movie.

      It’s cute. I liked it. But it was missing something. I can’t put my finger on what, exactly, but it was missing some kind of spark.

      I passed on the show the minute I heard that Terry Gilliam walked out on what he was being shown.

      Saw the insane original in theaters as a kid, and thought the premise could go on for many seasons. But wow, it was really terrible. Shockingly bland for such a fun/crazy premise.

      The Watiti days seem to be over.

      Well, starting to get attached to the characters, so there’s no sense in finishing the first season 🙁

      The trailer looked soulless. However it did help me discover the original, which I only watched very recently. Fckin loved it, great movie, highly recommended. Then i watched the trailer again – somehow it looked even more soulless.

      I liked it, it was fun. It took too long to get it’s legs. The first several episodes were pretty clunky.
