The development of the counter recce drone strategy based on uavs changed the situation dramatically.
First of all the russians don’t have the drones to replace hundreds they lost but they also no longer send them into UAF rear.
They are not entirely dead, since they cover the LOC and the immediate rear very well even without crossing it. So they can see 105mm artillery and mortars for example.
But they used to just fly anywhere all the time and that is over.

How can they even find them? Its almost impossible to identify them via radar.
