  1. Send them the weapons they need Jake. Allow them to hit what they need to hit Jake. Stop being a fucking coward.

Only conflict should be imposed from outside? Just checking for a friend.

“I think any peace plan that attends to essentially impose peace on the people of Ukraine that runs across fundamental principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, democracy and freedom is not just or sustainable,” Sullivan said via video link during the annual Yalta European Strategy (YES) conference in Kyiv.”

Looks like at least some people have learned from the Munich agreement of 1938.

I think we’ll see a “frozen war”/indefinite ceasefire arrangement before we see any official cessation of land from Ukraine to Russia. The current world order is very invested in disallowing annexations of land via the use of force (as it should be). But that likely means that we’ll have a “disputed border” for the foreseeable future.

There’s not going to be a peace agreement. Russia doesn’t care (so much) about gaining land.

Russia’s objective is and has always been to bring Ukraine back under Russian control, installing a pro Russia regime. It will never accept a stable prosperous pro-western NATO Ukraine on their border. If they can’t win and control Ukraine they will continue the conflict and turn Ukraine into a failed state.

Well I think weapons can be halted when it is no longer worth it

But that would only be after Kherson and Crimea are liberated and a little past melitopol

The supply lines will be so strong war beyond that point would cost so much life it would just not be worth continuing.

Kherson and Crimea are within sight and possible.

In fact Ukraine and the west should alter their strategy to maintain frontline with an offensive waged in this region primarily targeting supply lines as the main method of forcing a retreat or evacuation

Ukraine needs more weapons. Diverting resources towards the Ukraine and border and Kursk etc could also be complimented by increased targeting of supply chains in Kherson and Crimea.

Targeting border regions and regions behind donbas to weaken supply lines as a whole requires a lot of weapons and then targeting the extremities in Kherson and Crimea could see it collapse

But the targeting of supply lines in russia would create a weaker offensive on the front line by russia so Ukraine note easily able to defend the front line

It could enable Ukraine to build a force big enough to enter Kherson if coupled with increased training by the west.

Ideally the west defend the skies above western Ukraine so training can take place in Ukraine by western troops

Ukraine if all these scenarios occur could be on a healthy position and able to take back Kherson and Crimea.

A first step Ukraine certainly needs the ability to strike in russia or there’s no hope of anything else.
