There was news some time ago about China replacing the Hungarian police with their own people

  2. All of these “law enforcement officers”, if present in the U.S., should be immediately deported and any attempt to enforce Chinese laws on the U.S. soil should be severely punished!

The most insidious element of Chinese overseas law enforcement is their covert policing of Chinese populations in foreign countries. Even those living abroad will feel the chilling effect of the Chinese state looking over their shoulders.

  4. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/sep/11/china-to-train-thousands-of-overseas-law-enforcement-officers-to-create-more-fair-world-order) reduced by 85%. (I’m a bot)

    > China will train thousands of foreign law enforcement officers so as to see the world order "Develop in a more fair, reasonable and efficient direction", its minister for public security has said.

    > Monday's announcement suggests that number is increasing, with Wang noting that China has already trained 2,700 foreign law enforcement officers in the past year.

    > Last week after a China-Africa forum, Beijing announced it will train 1,000 more police enforcement officers for the African continent "And jointly ensure the safety of cooperation projects and personnel".

China loves to do this thing where they tout their role in security or peacekeeping efforts and it almost always just ends up being not-so-subtle veiled aggression toward the west. I don’t really get what their long game is because China has about 2% of the cultural footprint globally that the US does and I don’t think that’s changing any time soon.

This is… weird.. and maybe for internal headline grabbing?

Foreign investment in to china has quite literally fallen off a cliff in recent years. Add the fact that the RMB has failed to make any remarkable inroads to global currency trade and it’s fairly plain to see the the ‘world order’ the ccp talks about actually becoming more difficult for them to have any noticeable impact on.

I don’t believe a word of this but it sure would be entertaining to see them try it in the US.

Get you chinese police stations out of other countries. More fair? More 💩 crap. Go home.

I’d love to see US cops using those giant disarming sticks and nets to just whoop somebody’s ass.

But sadly, this isn’t that :c

Lmao can’t wait for Chinese cops patrolling the Vegas strip to arrest people in Winnie the Pooh t shirts

  12. What’s next a Chinese super cop with the fastest fists in the East teaming up with an American police with the fastest mouth in the West?

  13. Didn’t we see this in Star wars?……………..Xi Jinping might be a Sith lord

Overseas law enforcement- soldiers and an invasion without the declaration of war.

  15. Capable_Serve7870 on

Not too long ago the Chinese were exposed for having their own police stations in foreign countries…..I heard about one in SF. Turns out I lived a block away from it. Would never have suspected it.
