the problem with these statements’ from this admin is that they are never followed up with and can never be taken seriously. and thus they end up reading as pr/damage control rather than anything of actual significance. until statements like this are followed up with a policy of “or else” it’ll continue to be hollow.
there are still no changes from the murder of shireen abu by the idf, someone who was a hugely important figure to Palestinians as well as an american. or the subsequent murder of omar asad. why will this be different.

Not sure why America is surprised. They are murdering innocent women, children and men by the tens of thousands. Disgusting

I mean you didn’t do anything when they sniped that Palestinian American Christian woman reporting for al Jazeera or when they attacked the pallbearers and mourners at her funeral so I don’t quite expect you to do anything now either

the US seems to have reacted much faster to this American than all the Americans killed and taken as hostages on Oct 7th…

It’s being reported White House officials are currently discussing yuck faced grimaces, rolls of the eyes, and shakes of the head. Whether or not hands will be on hips or crossed in front of the chest is undecided.
Another source who’s been granted anonymity to share sensitive conversations has said if Israel continues, Biden administration plans for escalating up to the wagging of a finger have been approved. However, any shaking of fists has been taken off the table unless the situation clearly worsens.

Slings can kill people. Throwing rocks at armed soldiers is a bad idea. Anyone not understanding this logic should go to their local military base and start loading up slings and launching them at the guards at the front gates.
If they feel threatened or think its a grenade they will shoot. And you will die, and nobody will feel bad for you. Except for inexplicably when it comes to Palestinians and Social Media.

Empty words, Isreal has murdered other Americans with no repercussions (a journalist for example).

Used to be few Americans were so antisemitic that they’d join up the organizations working for the elimination of jews. Not the case these days.

Sorry, but if you’re protesting in/around an active war-zone where the protesters aren’t exactly always peaceful, I assume you’re doing so knowing death may be the outcome.

I don’t think an American wants to get into the behaviour of forces during protests. Just [not a good idea](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/list_of_police_violence_incidents_during_George_Floyd_protests).
