Germany’s domestic intelligence, in collaboration with the FBI, NSA, and international partners, has issued a warning about the Russian cyber group UNC2589, associated with GRU Unit 29155. This group has been involved in cyberattacks against NATO and EU countries, engaging in espionage and sabotage activities. The alert comes amid increasing European concerns over Russian cyber threats since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
