Ah it says the score of a friendly football match between Italy and Switzerland in the 1640s, saying that Italy won 2-0, but it was a good match, and that it was in memory of Sukoni Mabollini who was the first person attempting to dribble his way through enemy lines during the great iberian war in 1524, which ended badly for him as we all know. The ball is still on display in Bernisches Historisches Museum.
Hope that helps!
I cannot read much from it so it’s hard to look for anything it could relate to (as i am not from bern and don’t know much about where you live and what could be the cause of these writings).
If they are complete; it reads something like:
Nir Iacob covfen ann —- ichnito —— intro ndbist
And i cannot find anything related to that, i’m sorry.
Maybe you could ask the city’s museum ?
Ask your local Denkmalpflege. They have documented the inscription when opening the „window“ into the plaster. All i can read is the name Jakob in the first line and ann[o] beneath it. From the style (the inverted letters and points to separate words) i‘d say it’s late medieval or early modern era (ie. somewhere between 1400 and 1600). But that is just a guess, i‘m no expert in this ages.
