This guy was pretty much a useless tool so I would not be shocked if they did extradite him lol. Fuck whale hunting but also fuck this guy lol.

Don’t forget that Japan slaughters dolphins for fun. Japan can fuck right off.

    > Japan accuses the 73-year-old Watson, who has both Canadian and US citizenship, of obstructing the official duties of the whaling ship’s crew by ordering his crew to throw a stink bomb of butyric acid onto its deck, claiming that a crew member was injured.

    > If convicted, Watson faces up to 15 years in prison.

    > However, Sea Shepherd denies these claims, stating the “bombs” thrown were merely rancid butter to hamper the whalers’ efforts to cut up their catch.

    Edit:typo

  4. Seems like he assaulted Japanese sailors, that’s a crime regardless if he’s doing it to prevent Whaling. One crime to stop another crime is still a crime, especially when it involves assaulting another human.

To hell with Japan! Long live Paul Watson and Sea Shepherd!!!! They are saving the ocean’s greatest animals by force because they have to! I wish US Navy would assist Sea Shepherd efforts. As a US tax payer that’s how I want my tax money spent – supporting Sea Shepherd!! 💪🐋

Paul Watson isn’t with Sea Shepherd anymore. He runs a new organisation named after himself as Sea Shepherd stopped being radical enough.

It’s all pretended outrage designed to distract people from the real problem of Japan’s commercial fishing fleet unsustainably hammering the living shit out of fish populations/stocks across the Pacific. Especially tuna.

They don’t actually give much of a damn about whaling and most whale meat is Neverending consumed.

  8. “Paul Watson’s arrest in Greenland sparked protests and calls for his release, while Japan insists on upholding international law and a fair trial”

Fair trials don’t exist in a country that’s has a conviction rate of 99+%, especially not for non-Japanese. Japanese police usually bully you into admitting you did the crime even though you’re innocent, they are also allowed to keep you for months in jail while they continually bash and harass you in interviews. He also wont be allowed to speak English in Japanese jails. The Japanese can fuck right off imo. He will definitely go to jail in Japan for 10+ years even if he’s innocent.

Idk where all this whataboutism comes from.

The fact of the matter is that oceans are drastically overfished and fish populations are dwindling (along with a lot of other populations) and whales tremendously help fish populations. So by hunting whales there’s even less fish to go around.

  10. Japan can fuck right off. If Japan wasnt so detrimental to the world’s economy I could well imagine several countries would’ve called for sanctions but the blessed Japan may not be criticised. Go with the fucking times Japan. So progressive yet so stuck in the past…

  11. Why are they so hellbent on hunting whales? No way is it THAT important of an industry.

Fuck Norway, fuck Japan for still killing whales in commercial purposes.
    Shitty pretentious cunts.

  13. Just park a thousand Godzilla statues outside every Japanese port – problem solved?

  14. By all legal accounts the man is a pirate. Put the fact that your like his cause aside and realize that if you support his actions, you’re in favour of literal piracy as defined in international maritime law.
