Got to send this one to my mother…
No just brain rot
The tinfoil hat brigade have been squealing about this for 40 years, and they’re not going to stop now.
The more evidence is produced to prove there’s no link, the more they’re convinced the Illuminati control *everyone*.
Ahh, so *that’s* why everyone isn’t dying of brain cancer.
What a discovery!
This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.theguardian.com/science/article/2024/sep/04/mobile-phones-not-linked-to-brain-cancer-biggest-study-to-date-finds) reduced by 88%. (I’m a bot)

> "We concluded the evidence does not show a link between mobile phones and brain cancer or other head and neck cancers.”
> The association between mobile phones and cancer came about from early studies where researchers investigated differences between a group of people with brain tumours, and a separate group without the cancers by asking both about their exposure history.
> Based on some of these early studies showing there might be a possible association with brain cancer from mobile phone use against the head for many hours, WHO's International Agency for Research on Cancer designated radio-frequency fields like those from mobile phones as a possible cancer risk.

No more dangerous than aloe vera or pickled vegetables.
Latest full article I could find on pubmed.
**Risks to Health and Well-Being From Radio-Frequency Radiation Emitted by Cell Phones and Other Wireless Devices**
[https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6701402/](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6701402/)
There radio waves everywhere. We would all be dead of brain cancer before cell phones if this was true. Remember the stupid “wifi makes me sick” crowd?! Lmfao
I miss the radiation blockers Walgreens and shit would sell at the registers when cell phones started becoming more of a thing.
[Case study demonstrates how “no hazards” conclusion is drawn from data showing hazards](https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/10.1515/reveh-2024-0089/html)
“While the WHO systematic review presents itself as thorough, scientific, and relevant to human health, we identified numerous issues rendering the WHO review irrelevant and severely flawed. All flaws found skew the results in support of the review’s conclusion that there is no conclusive evidence for nonthermal effects.
“We show that the underlying data, when relevant studies are cited correctly, support the opposite conclusion: There are clear indications of detrimental nonthermal effects from RF-EMF exposure. The many identified flaws uncover a pattern of systematic skewedness aiming for uncertainty hidden behind complex scientific rigor. The skewed methodology and low quality of this review is highly concerning, as it threatens to undermine the trustworthiness and professionalism of the WHO in the area of human health hazards from man-made RF-EMF.”
I guess this type of study must be done to meet the worriers (the crazies won’t believe it anyway) but just the simple fact that the age-standardized incidence of brain cancer is essentially stable since the 1970 and through the time in which mobile phones became ubiquitous should be enough. (Except minor change due to diagnostics etc)

[Obligatory XKCD](https://xkcd.com/925/)
the proof has always been in our hands. like literally. if the rf was harmful, our hands which hold the phones would have shriveled up and fallen off way before brain cancer would have manifested. we hold them in our hands much much more than we hold them to our heads, and even then we’re still holding them in our hands.
What about brain atrophy? I didn’t even read the article.
I remember when people thought cell phone radiation could pop popcorn
But what about all of my own research??? ALL THESE YOUTUBE DOCUMENTARIES IVE WATCHED!

There are some folks that are sensitive to radio waves. It can cause headaches etc. Cancer, clearly not.
Oh gawd that ONE lady in Pittsfield is going to disagree, hard.
It’s the wind farms that do it, Don the Con said
5g radio waves with microchips in your brain
I hardly use mine for calls anyway
I’m more concerned about them causing cancer in my hands or my thigh somehow. The waves around doing anything, but the ambient heat from these little buggers have me cooked some days.
I wonder who funded this “study”?
They are linked to brain *rot* though
The content on them, however…
It is true that EM radiation in your microwave oven is used to heat food. Water molecules are centered on an oxygen atom, with two hydrogen atoms separated by about 104.5 degrees. The shape and size of the molecule makes it resonant to em radiation at about 2.45 GHz. This is why microwave ovens operate at 2.45 GHz (to cause the water in the food to want to boil). This is also why if your food has little water, you get little heat. Ovens have between 600 and 1110 watts of power. Your phone has 1/3 of a watt of power. The phone works on another frequency (so your ear isn’t even likely to warm up from the phone). The great big emitter of wideband radiation is what you have to worry about. Sure its 93 million miles away, but the UVA and UVB will give you skin cancer. The radiant energy will burn your skin, make you hot and sweaty, and if you don’t stay hydrated, give you heat stroke, or worse.
Not brain cancer but definitely brain rot
The vast majority of cancers are caused by mechanical stressors. Asbestos is a great example that punctures cells and can not be effectively removed by the body. Cigarette smoke contains hundreds of compounds that damage cellular membranes. Microplastics have been shown to damage membranes by mechanical stretching. Radiation likewise damages cellular membranes which triggers cell death, hence why people die to horrible death in response to acute radiation poisoning. Mobile phone signals are way too weak to damage membranes.
