The military on Tuesday confirmed reports that a Hamas Nukhba force company commander who led the invasion of Netiv Ha’asara on October 7 was killed in a recent airstrike in the Gaza Strip.
Ahmed Fawzi Nasser Muhammad Wadiyya was among eight Hamas terrorists killed in the strike on a compound used by the terror group near Gaza City’s al-Ahli hospital, according to a joint statement from the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet.
The military said that Wadiyya was the commander of a Nukhba force company in the terror group’s Daraj-Tuffah Battalion. On October 7, he entered Netiv Ha’asara — a moshav near the Gaza border — by paraglider and oversaw the massacre of 22 of the community’s 900 residents.
He was the terrorist who was filmed drinking Coca-Cola from the fridge of the Taasa family home, moments after murdering [Gil Taasa](https://www.timesofisrael.com/gil-and-or-tasa-46-17-father-son-murdered-on-same-day-in-two-locations/), 46, in front of his two youngest sons, Koren, 12, and Shay, 8, inside the same home.

If only he could also repay the trauma he no doubt inflicted on the kids.
What a horrific visage.
Good riddence to bad rubbish
May his name be erased.
gotta catch em all!
Reuniting the faithful with their maker is a nice thing to do
Good riddance and good on the IDF for finding him.

Hopefully all of Hamas will face appropriate justice soon.
When people chant “Resistance by any means necessary”, they are affirmatively telling you that they think this guy’s actions were good and justifiable
Look at that sixhead
“How can we expect Israelis to not be radicalized when their fathers are killed in front of them? Hamas has created a generation of radicals they are responsible for who will bring hell upon Palestinians for 50 years now. You can’t defeat an ideology with violence”
Just kind of weird no one was saying that after October 7th but the reverse is held as a fundamental truth.
I’m curious to see in 20 years the differences in children of October 7th and children of the Gaza offensive… is atrocity and cruelty really a definitive predictor of becoming a radical? Or does the community outlook, supporting healing over revenge, create a different outcome? Guess we will find out- but who knows if we will pay attention.
People being disgusting over religion.
Brutally murder someone in front of their children, and see if you didn’t just create more people who hate Muslims. Extremism is stupid. Education is important.
This is good news. Airstrike is too kind of a death for this animal.
Hope it hurt
Hope it wasn’t a head shot. But then again, no way anyone could miss.
Just like how IDF murdered families in front of other family members?
Good riddance.
