Warning: The article contains graphic detail, discretion is advised.

All six hostages whose bodies were discovered and recovered from Gaza on Sunday were found with gunshot wounds to their head and other areas, their autopsies showed.

According to the post-mortem, they were executed no more than 48 hours before being found and signs of neglect in captivity were found on their bodies.

Except for one of the hostages, who showed signs of being bound, no evidence of torture was found. However, the condition of their bodies indicated systematic neglect, including a lack of hygiene over a long period. Additionally, indications were present of previous injuries sustained during their abduction, which had been treated over time.

IDF forces discovered the bodies of the six hostages in a tunnel in Rafah, located about a kilometer from the one where hostage Farhan Alkadi was found and rescued. The IDF had no indication of the captives’ exact location in recent months but was aware captives were in the sector, which is why the operation in Rafah was slow and methodical since fighting began there.

Troops didn’t encounter the terrorists who murdered the six and escaped. It’s possible they were killed in the recent fighting above ground. After being located, the bodies were recovered and brought to the Israeli border, where police and identification teams confirmed their identities at 4 a.m.

The six hostages were abducted from Israel to the northern Gaza Strip and transferred over time to Rafah, where they were executed.

  2. Hamas supporters will say Israel intentionally executed them to “blame it” on Hamas

Hamas bastards need to be put down like the dogs they are. There can be no peace until they are eradicated and no longer in power in Gaza.

Really sad. Irrespective of ones opinion of the respective sides in this conflict, nothing justifies murdering innocent civilians. It was clearly done out of spite, as it achieved nothing.

  5. people are already going around saying hamas released a statement saying they died in an airtsrike. im waiting for the next hamas statement saying it was an airstrike of snipers or something.

theyll do anything to twist the facts.

anyone trying to spin this story as israels fault – as many have – should be sent to gaza. maybe theyll ne taken hostage an treated nicely , as they claim hamas does

    im just mad and sad.

(just in case, obviously this is all hamas, no anti israel here)

    USA – ‘don’t go into Rafa…’
Hamas ‘we murder hostages while pretending to negotiate their release’
Israel waits – hostages are murdered
    USA ‘thoughts and prayers’

I’m sorta onto the endless interviews of children and media being shot by snipers

  8. itsmehonest on

No doubt it’ll be twisted against Israel again..

Yes they’ve gone too far, but far too many people continue to blame shit on Israel that was Hamas. Also just to even support Hamas is beyond stupid (looking at you, dense Uni/college students)

    > According to the post-mortem, they were executed no more than 48 hours before being found

Quite clear that they were executed to avoid them being freed by the IDF.

Time for Isreal to teach Hamas a big message. Any other country would do so and nobody would think twice about it.

  11. Hamas needs to be stomped out completely. I’d like to see Israel take over the Gaza strip and bring some actual order to the chaos there.

  12. BringbackDreamBars on

I wish this finally stopped the bullshit peddling that “If Israel released the prisoners then the hostages would be back”.

Its quite clear that these hostages aren’t there for negotiation at all. They are human shields.

  13. (Living) hostages is the only real asset Hamas really posse’s. Deliberate execution either mean the total desperation of of the Hamas leadership (‘we’ll all gonna die anyway”) or just low-level operatives psychological instability (“IDF is getting close to me!!!!”).

Posting a money prize + a promise to keep alive Hamas operatives who will help to rescue hostages can be very helpful.

  14. lol it’s crazy. Israel can never win.
    Dead hostages = Israel’s fault.
    Dead Palestinians= israel fault.
Rescues live hostages and Palestinians die= Israels fault
Hamas launches unlimited bombs= Israel’s fault
Israel launches targeted bombs = Israel’s fault
To not have to go to war, put up blockade = Israel’s fault

I mean the list goes on. Its insanity
