Yeah but you can order them directly from Temu and skip the dealer markup.

  2. Okay. Well just make sure you ramp up domestic production then and do it quick. Because telling Canadians we need to emit less and then “banning” cheap EV options is a terrible look.

I’m convinced the push for EVs is an attempt to demobilize the middle class, given that governments seem to be doing everything they can to prevent China or other countries from doing what US manufacturers refuse to: provide cheap EVs meant for the masses, instead of every EV being $60k+

It’s BS our governments protect shitty domestic industry practices by banning or heavily restricting the competition instead of forcing domestic industry to adjust to compete.

EVs will never replace ICE until entry level EVs are as cheap as the cheapest gas cars, or ideally cheaper since they are less mechanically complex.

China subsidizes their EV production to keep prices artificially low.

    Capitalism churns on

Question is 100% tariffs enough to compensate for state supported, state run, workplace safety, environmental controls and so on and so on?

  6. Seems like all that Free market speech, and many other, only works when the west is ahead.

When it’s reverse, time for some protectionism and non capitalist measures.

You’re losing the game you polished and don’t know what to do.
