    >Federal investigators told the judge that they had no evidence to prove that he was guilty of intentionally spreading misinformation, Rana Rizwan, a defense lawyer, told reporters.

I guess that’s why it was such a fast trial.

What actually happened? Who was behind the stabbings?

Never got a clear answer from headlines.

  3. Can we agree that he *Definitely didn’t Mean* to start the UK riots?

The UK riots were not in response to a singular incident but rather a culmination of many aspects including a massive spike beyond all records in migration, terror attacks and a change of the cultural landscape of the United Kingdom. Every government since 2003 promised to reduce migration to the tens of thousands, with the latest figure being 1.2 million. Mass migration increases housing costs and reduces the availability of healthcare and public services.

In addition, the United Kingdom lacks all aspects of free speech and is blurring the lines between terrorism and extremism, the latter being a new word with no basis in international law. In effecf meaning that anything coined as “extremism” can result in terrorism act charges which means 28 days without access to a lawyer or formal charges being filed.
My opinion is that the riots were due to a feeling of it being the last chance to make their voices heard before ever stricter rules on expressing an opinion came to fruition. The government of the UK responded with multiple year prison sentences for Facebook and social media posts, even suggesting Elon musk could be prosecuted for “inciting hate” (London metropolitan police commissioner)

I am South African-English and a migrant worker currently living in the UK, I do not agree with the above perspectives but simply state that suggesting one man and one lie was not the cause of the riots.
