      So in other words, the EU is supposed to ignore Russia’s own militarisation? Not a chance.

      What’s more interesting is whether Ursula’s pledge was also made in response to the now likely event that Trump returns as US president.

      What are the direct military threats that the EU has?… Russia and maybe Belarus.

      Now if only there was a conflict that Russia was involved in which the EU could exploit to weaken the chance of Russian aggression.

      This is ridiculous. Of course, it’s militarisation, but what caused such a paradigm shift in stance? I don’t know… Maybe a full-on invasion of a neighboring country by a rival nation.
