Probs as always – we improvise, we adapt, we overcome.
Constant growth is advertised by those who cant improve – intellectually dead companies, corrupt oligarchs etc. They either need cheaper workforce or more buyers to stay afloat. But in practice Latvia wouldn’t need more than 10Mil people to sustain itself without compromising quality of life.
But the demographic panic mostly is talked by those reaping billions, while general public suffers from inflation, housing crisis, congestion of services, roads, decline in food quality. Also reduced opportunity to make difference and express your self.
With declining population the only important question is minimum number of population required to support a country. And frankly there’s no rule that says it can’t be just one person.
