      The question being why someone calling himself or herself u/[AntiFacistBossBitch](https://www.reddit.com/user/AntiFacistBossBitch/) would post such slander, although obvious to anyone who’s had anything to do with Kosovar Albanians that women don’t need escorts to leave the house or need permission from their husbands to cut their hair? Did he/she just need the internet points or does he/she think spreading such generalizations based on the experience of one woman about a whole nation is alright (smells kinda fascist-y to me, tho…)?

      The article seems to be written by an Albanian judging by the last name ? The least they could of done was name which town this person was living in before she wrote a fucking article portraying the majority of us in this way

      She doesn’t name the village she’s from, who knows what isolated villages she’s talking about and is using that to represent all of us. We don’t even know the family she married into, what their background is, etc. it’s slander, especially since the majority of the nation would call out this behavior in the first place.

      This is so god damn absurd that we are seen as some kind of backward society. I can assure you that we are not a nation of archaic traditions where women can’t make decisions for themselves. this kind of nonsense doesn’t represent us
