Meine Großeltern wurden in Aserbaidschan geboren, wanderten aber aus, als meine Mutter fünf Jahre alt war und ich die Sprache nicht spreche. Ich habe dieses alte Buch gefunden, das meine Oma liest, aber sie hat Demenz und spricht jetzt fast nur noch Aserbaidschanisch, sodass sie es nicht für mich übersetzen kann. Google hat mir geholfen zu verstehen, dass es sich um eine Märchensammlung handelt, aber die Übersetzung von über 400 Seiten mit Google wäre ein Albtraum. Kann mir jemand Quellen auf Englisch nennen, in denen ich einige davon lesen kann? Es ist so interessant für mich, aber ich bin verloren

All I could find on Amazon was [this](https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Ali-Nino/dp/9952362919#featureBulletsAndDetailBullets_feature_div) book.It’s not the same as yours but it probably has some of the same folk tales.Also there is a YouTube channel named “Azerbaijani fairy tales” that has a lot of fairytales with English subtitles and animation.It looks childish(probably because it is)but you should have a look yourself
I don’t think there is an english version of this book. Also it wouldn’t be possible to translate these fairy tales to english without significant alterations. Your best bet would be to find azerbaijani speaker and ask them to translate for you.
You can hire someone, it will cost around $10-15 to translate 300 words. But, if you prefer not to spend money, you can use the Google Translate app’s camera. It’s integrated with Google Lens, which is not bad but don’t know if it’s effective with Cyrillic. Alternatively, you can simply learn ur old language.
