People here are so naive. Thinking that being a NATO member solves all the security problems is plain stupid. Even trying to get into NATO becomes a blood bath. I am not saying let’s not try but definitely not the way Ukraine or Georgia did, but the way Sweden did. The world is changing. The US is losing its hegemony, NATO becomes less reliable in the face of new threats. Regional powerhouses are becoming more important.
Azerbaijan’s security is based on its strong army, political intelligence, allies like Turkey, hopefully Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the nearest future.
In essense, be in good relationship with Russia, help Ukraine as much as possible, but don’t boast about it. Don’t play publicity games , it doesn’t matter that much nowadays.
