Poilievre isn’t cleaning anything up, he’ll be just as bad,
TravelOften2 on
It will be cleaned up, but it will likely take time. It’s going to be painful for those who have become reliant on government welfare, which is needed to get our country back on track. Far too many people are comfortable receiving government hand outs instead of working and being productive.

If he at least attempts to fix things, I would see it as a win. However, it’s highly unlikely. Politicians only care about career advancement.
Given how fcked up things are, I don’t see Poilievre lasting more than 1 term.

That’s their plan. Scorched earth and let him fail so they get voted back in. Very fucking cynical

Yep. Then in 4-8 years. It’ll be the Libs turn.

People are gonna have to brace for a few tough years with Pierre. We gotta cut a lot of services to reign in the debt Trudeau built. But better late than never.
Conservatives don’t clean up shit they just fo corruption, this round will bring fascism too , fun!

So taking the Fox news approach and warming people up for the mediocrity and excuses while they cut public services and push corporate tax cuts (trickle down economics) . Sounds about right for National Post and the ~~Republican~~ Conservative party of canada.

What they figure they might form government again sometime?

Wow. Not even an election on the horizon and Poilievre is already testing how long he can blame shit on the Liberals after taking power. Perhaps Trudeau should blame things on Harper…

It’s hysterical that the oil company PR bots are still using natpoo to spread the bullshit that PP has the slightest interest in fixing anything.

That latest 8 million to study climate change and democracy. It’s like Trudeau is baiting the people. He just doesn’t give a fuck any more. We have people struggling but here is another couple million to send outside the country. I don’t understand him one bit. How can his caucus support this?

The thing is it can turn quick. The rich are spinning their heels on shit like real estate and bitcoin because the west closed for business. If Canada opens for business and wealth generation there’s a lot of money floating that could find a home.
If we stop telling the Germany, Japan and Greeces of the world that we don’t want their business then things can change fast.
Need to the provinces and native communities to come on that trip with us but PP actually seems to already be working on it.

I can’t wait until every cut PP does will be sold to the idiots as “we had to cut this social program because of Trudeau/the gays/immigrants” and they will lap it up. 5 years of whining about the Trudeau bogey man while they enrich their donor buddies. Canada sucks now and is about to get so much shittier.

The idea of conservatives cleaning anything up is laughable

Yeah, I know, Poilievre is abysmally weak, he couldn’t find his ass in the dark with both Hands

That is their plan. Burn it all down. Hand over an impossible task to PP and come back to power in no time.

Unfortuneately, it will take a few decades to clean up the mess.

Hahahaha, we haven’t even begun to fix the mess the last guy left and PPs won’t change a thing, and will probably just make it worse. And yes, it can still get worse.

You know how PP is going to clean up this mess? More immigration, cuts to social programs and lower taxes for corporations

I’m pretty sure federal and provincial governments (of all major parties) worked together to create the problem. It seems we’re all out of ideas. Name calling isn’t going to solve anything.
