Protest all you want. You arent citizens. The changes made a very reasonable. If they arent happy with their investment they can go elsehwhere

Bravo to BC. I wish they did this in Ontario and rendered every single student attending one of those bullshit stripmall colleges ineligible for a post-grad work permit or PR.

I’m not sure these students are going to get the kind of sympathy from Canadians they are looking for, considering the current attitude towards immigration happening right now. And no Canadian politician is under obligation to advocate for them, since they aren’t voters.
The people at fault are the institutions who made this a gold rush for their tuition money. And the immigration consultants who promised them easy paths towards immigration and took their money. Which I do think is worth cracking down on them for basically taking advantage of people looking for a better life, but an easy path towards it. At least, in order to prevent future abuse from the industry.

I can see why they are protesting. Seems like a rug pull from their perspective and that sucks. A lot of legitimate students that are looking for opportunities and unfortunately a new wave of xenophobia is on the way.
